Jamega Pro Tour is the professionals' choice

2015 schedule delivers 21 events for golfers who refuse to compromise on quality

LONDON, UK (3rd February 2015) The Jamega Pro Tour has just launched its 2015 schedule for professional golfers and aspiring amateurs.

Over the past decade, the Jamega Pro Tour has forged a reputation as a firm favourite for discerning golfers. While other tours come and go, the Jamega Pro Tour is consistently praised for its exemplary organisation, unrivalled player experience and consistent prize money for professionals and bonus prizes for amateurs.

With events throughout southern England and Midlands, it again expects to attract a strong field from rookie golfers cutting their teeth on the circuit, to experienced professionals who refuse to compromise on quality. Many rising stars from the Jamega Pro Tour have gone on to play on The European Tour and graced The Open Championship.

“It’s very professionally run with a friendly atmosphere and very good courses,” says 2014 Order of Merit winner Martin Sell, who grossed £27,299 in prize money. “It’s truly a real pleasure to be a member of this tour, I’d highly recommend it to all aspiring tournament professionals."

The Jamega Tour will continue to incorporate the Single Figure Golfer tour, allowing low handicap amateurs to play for tailored prizes such as expenses-paid slots on the Algarve Pro Golf Tour that is twinned with Jamega.

“Having spoken to many of the guys that have played on the Jamega Pro Golf Tour I would say that it's a great tour to start your professional tournament career,” says European Ryder Cup star David Howell.

"I started playing the Jamega Pro Golf Tour when I turned professional," says European Tour player Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston. "It was a massive learning curve in which the Jamega team made me feel right at home and helped me improve and develop my game. I won my first pro event with Jamega in 2009."

Jamega provides the complete tournament experience over two days with fully manned registration, issue of individually printed named scorecards, free yardage books, daily pin-sheets, local rules, an official starter and two “on-course” rules officials. Daily tee and hole locations are also determined by Jamega officials not club committees.

The Jamega Tour kicks off at Machynys Peninsula Golf and Country Club on the 27 – 29th April. For more information and the full schedule, visit www.jamegatour.co.uk
